To our members, friends and those who come to view our web site, the start of Maxwell Heights goes back to the summer of 1869, One Hundred Thirty Years Ago when Logan Maxwell started a church school in this community.

By November Missionaries were holding worship services and the rest is history. The strength of Maxwell Heights is not the building and it’s rich history, but the people that worship within the building. Maxwell Heights is a church where people receive a warm welcome. A church where you can come to cry and someone will cry with you. A place where you are loved and cared about. A place where you can laugh and people will laugh with you.

This church is a place for worship, praise, prayer, Bible study, fellowship dinners, fun, a group that you can join and be a part of, and a place for healing. Maxwell Heights is enriched with people who have attended for years and others who started attending just last Sunday.
