Praising the Lord

“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!” – Psalm 98:4

Worship is the center of life at Maxwell Heights. We meet on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. for blended worship that includes traditional and contemporary elements. We have a choir that leads the congregation in praising the Rock of Ages, and a glory band that rocks out on contemporary music for people of all ages. At times, our service is silent and thoughtful. At other times, it is raucous and joyous and blows the roof off the sanctuary. Please come join us some Sunday morning and see for yourself! Fellowship with donuts begins at 9:30 in the basement. It’s a great way to start your Sunday morning.

Children’s church is available during worship for kids who may not be able to sit through a whole service, but we invite students from middle school on up to stay in the sanctuary for the church’s main service, and we hope our worship is lively enough to keep their attention.

There are Sunday School offerings for children and adults of all ages at 11:15 a.m., right after the service.
